Detection in the Field. Command on Your Own Systems.
Kingfisher is a two-part system, and each part has its own job:
Kingfisher detects. Kingfisher Watch shows.
Kingfisher: Portable Detection Unit
Kingfisher is the portable unit used in the field.
Each unit:
- monitors the cellular environment;
- communicates with other Kingfisher units;
- sends findings to Kingfisher Watch;
- can be deployed on its own or as part of a multi-unit network.
Kingfisher looks for cellular activity that shouldn't be there and gives your security team the technical context to understand what it found. See more on the Kingfisher unit.
Kingfisher Watch: Command Platform on Your Own Systems
Kingfisher Watch is the command platform on your own systems. It provides live maps, heatmaps, a SOC dashboard, dispatch and multiple display options.
It takes the findings from every deployed Kingfisher unit and turns them into a live view your operators can work from. See more on Kingfisher Watch.
Detect and Assess
Kingfisher units continuously watch the cellular environment and flag infrastructure and behavior that don't fit.
Legitimate networks change all the time. Towers are added, removed and reconfigured. Temporary systems appear. Signals vary by place, network and time of day.
Kingfisher profiles the cellular environment in the field. Kingfisher Watch gives your operator the context to judge whether activity is expected and whether it needs a response. Profiling and Validation explains how.
Locate the Source
Once suspicious infrastructure turns up, the next question is physical:
Where is it, and what is it doing?
Multiple Kingfisher units can work together to widen coverage and help locate where a suspicious signal is coming from across a larger protected area. Kingfisher Network explains how units work together.
On Your Own Systems by Design
Your information stays under your control. Kingfisher Watch and all collected data are on your own systems, and you own and control them. Kingfisher units are remote sensors and do not store data.
Open APIs feed your SOC.
For organizations protecting sensitive operations, customer control is built in from the start.
Evaluate the System in Your Environment
The best way to evaluate Kingfisher is in the environment you actually need to protect. Start with Kingfisher and Kingfisher Watch.
